1. I’d like to start by saying that India is well-known for its bio-diversity. It is famous for its diversity in flora and fauna.
2. Different kind of plants and vegetables can be
found in India.
3. Here I want to talk about a plant towards which I’ve special affinity and it is none other than Basil ???? plant.
4. It is called Tulsi in India which means incomparable one.
5. It’s certainly incomparable due to the qualities it has.
6. Basil ???? is cultivated in India owing to its religious and medicinal properties.
7. Basil has been used for thousands of years in Ayurveda, a Hindu form of Medical science, for its diverse healing property.
8. This plant is used to prevent and cure many illnesses and common ailments like common cold, headache, stomach disorders inflammation etcetera.
9. Moreover, basil has a great religious importance in Hindu Culture.
10. A Hindu household is considered incomplete if it does not have a basil plant in courtyard.
11. This plant is worshiped in the morning and evening by Hindus at large.
