I would like to start by saying that…
Well, India has produced many famous artists time to time.
And choosing one of them is a real tuff task.
I’m going to speak about Mr. A. R. Rahman.
I am a huge fan of him.
He is very renowned singer and recognized by almost every Indian song lover just because of his melodious voice.
He is a south Indian.
He is in his 40’s.
He is not very tall but looks very handsome.

Reasons to like

First of all, he is very talented singer.
He is a master of his craft.
He is not only the singer but also he is concoction of director, musician, lyricist and so on.
Many times he has given breathtaking performances on the silver screen.
His song ‘Jai Ho’ from the movie ‘Slum dog Millionaire’ won the Golden Globe award.
Secondly, I like him for what he has achieved in his life.
He is a huge inspiration for billions of people.
He rose from scratches and went on to achieve the highest post of the country.
He was born in a poor family, yet he became the president of India.
So I just love A.R.Rehman and his music.

Yes, singers play an important role in my country. They are an integral part of our culture and their songs are played in various ceremonies, weddings, and parties.

2. Do you think celebrities have a lot of income?
I think celebrities earn a lot of income but it is justified. They work hard and entertain us. They also sacrifice their privacy and personal space because of their popularity.

3. In your country, people prefer to listen to traditional music or foreign music?
In my country, the older generation still likes traditional music but the younger generation is influenced by the western world and prefers to listen to foreign music.
