FOR Full Form is Freight On Road. It is also known as Free On Road. When the freight is paid by seller, it is called Freight on Road. If we order something on F.O.R. basis, that good mentioned in the invoice will be transmitted from the supplier to the client without any transportation charges.

In other words, The ownership of the goods sold, gets transferred to the buyer at the gate of the seller at the agreed price. Thereafter all risks and expenses incurred in moving the goods to the buyer’s premises (or desired location), is borne by the buyer.
