Common Proficiency Test

If you want to become a CA (Chartered Accountant) then it is mandatory for you to do CPT, after passing 12th class, you can apply for CPT and after passing the CPT exam, you participate in the next process to become a CA. CPT is also known as CA- CPT, friends it is a compulsory examination to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Eligibility Criteria

  1. For CPT, it is compulsory for a candidate to have 50% in 12th. If you have passed 12th with 50% marks, then you can apply for CPT and later your CPT exam will be done, after that you can fulfill your dream of becoming a CA.
  2. This fee is deposited at the time of submission of the filled application form.
  3. The CPT exam is usually conducted in the months of June and December. 

Computer Proficiency Test

It is an entry level test that evaluates the basic computer skills of a user. It will consist of three Modules in the following manner:

(I) Word Processing Test : 2000 Key Depressions
(II) Test in spread Sheets on Microsoft Excel : 15 Minutes
(III) Test in Power Point (Microsoft Power Point) : 15 Minutes

Curricular Practical Training

Curricular Practical Training is temporary employment authorization for F-1 visa non-immigrant foreign students in the United States while enrolled in a college-level degree program. CPT must be completed before graduating. In addition, CPT can be part-time (20 hours or less a week) or full time (20 hours or more a week). Although, if you work full-time for 12 months in CPT, you will lose your eligibility for OPT.

Current Procedural Terminology

Current Procedural Terminology, more commonly known as CPT®, refers to a set of medical codes used by physicians, allied health professionals, nonphysician practitioners, hospitals, outpatient facilities, and laboratories to describe the procedures and services they perform. New editions are released each October. The current version is the CPT 2018. It is available in both a standard edition and a professional edition.
