CISF Full Form – What Is The Full Form Of CISF

CISF stands for Central Industrial Security Force. CISF is such a paramilitary force whose main function is to provide security to government factories and other government undertakings. Apart from this, CISF protects the country’s internal security VVIP Security, Metro, Nuclear Institute, etc.

The CISF was formed in 1969. Cisf is directly under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and is headquartered in New Delhi. As of today, the number of CISF Force has increased to about 1.50 lakhs. CISF Force is divided into 7 regions Airports, North, Northeast, East, West, South and Training. It also has a Fire Service Wing. This Fire Wing helps during fire accidents in industries.

CISF Age limit

To get a job in CISF, the minimum age of its aspirant has been set at 18 years and maximum age is 25 years. In this, SC / ST candidates have been given 5 years relaxation in the maximum age limit and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Requirement For CISF

Height – 170 CM Male, 157 CM Female

Chest – 80 CM and inflated 85 centimeters, male

High jump – 9 feet men in 3 chances, 3 feet women in 3 chances

Long jump – 12 feet men in 3 chances, 9 feet women in 3 chances

Race – 100m in 16 seconds, male, 18 seconds 100m female

Friends 12th and 10th pass students can apply for the posts of CISF.

CISF Branches

CISF mainly has three branches: Executive branch, Fire Service branch and Ministerial branch. It is further organized into six sectors. Each sector is headed by Sector Inspector General. These sectors are as follows:

  • Eastern Sector with headquarters at Patna
  • Northern Sector with headquarters at New Delhi
  • Western Sector with headquarters at Mumbai
  • Southern Sector with headquarters at Chennai
  • North Eastern Sector with headquarters at Kolkata
  • Airport Sector with headquarters at New Delhi
