Central bureau Of Investigation

CBI full form is Central Bureau of Investigation. CBI is the Domestic Security Agency of India, which investigates large-scale cases in India and reports to the Home Ministry. Its main function is to invest in complex cases.

CBI was established in 1941 and is headquartered in New Delhi. The CBI’s job is to investigate every case related to National Security. It performs its work under the Department of Personnel & Training. The functioning of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and CBI is very similar.

Most of the work has to be done by the CBI at the behest of the High Court and the Supreme Court. Whenever a case gets bigger and is not resolved soon, the lawyers demand that the matter be investigated by the CBI, then the court gives order to investigate. The CBI team is more powerful than the CID team, although no one can interfere in the CBI case, but the Prime Minister can do so.
