BE Full Form – What Is The Full Form Of BE

BE is an engineering course and has a full form “Bachelor of Engineering“. BE is a four-year course under which there are many branches in which mechanical, electronic, computer science, IT, civil are the major. This degree is equivalent to B.tech degree and awarded by many IIT’s, NIT’s, states and central universities and many other private institutes in many branches of engineering.

To get admission in BE, students have to pass the entrance exam. Some entrance exam are at the state level, while some colleges do their own exam. After this, students get college only on the basis of merit.

Students who have good rank get government colleges which also have low fees and students who do not have good rank get admission in private colleges.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BE

  1. Student must be citizen of India.
  2. 12th is compulsory.
  3. At least 55% marks in 12th (although some colleges only take students with 70% marks).
  4. Students should have done inter and high school from recognized board.
